Corrective exercise is ideal for people who want to get the benefits of exercise but are suffering with chronic pain or a niggling injury. Many people get great benefits from working with a physiotherapist, chiropractor, osteopath or acupuncturist for treatment of acute injuries, but once they finish their treatment their rehabilitation stops before the root cause of their pain is addressed. This often leads to a cycle where the pain or injury returns in time. Here is where corrective exercise helps.

We assess a client’s quality of movement and address dysfunctional movement patterns with a combination of individually targeted mobilisation, flexibility and stability work. With this approach we have helped clients eradicate pain they have lived with for years and thought they would never be rid of. In addition, clients also move towards the other goals they were hoping to achieve from training such as weight loss or improved performance because the improvements in quality of movement allow for more effective training methods to be utilised with a reduced risk of pain and injury.
